Cover both the transplanted and donor areas with 7-8 drops of moisturizer without rubbing or massaging. It is important to apply the moisturizer in the same direction as the transplanted follicles to prevent any damage. Remember that you can use more moisturizer for the donor area as it increases skin cell renewal, hydration and softens the scales.
After 45 minutes of applying the moisturizer, it is time to move on to an important step in your care routine. Prepare a lather with the medicated shampoo we provide you, and gently apply it to the transplanted area as well as the donor area, leave the lather on your hair for two to three minutes and then rinse it gently
When you start rinsing your hair, use warm water gently, either pouring water directly from the bottle or from a bowl. Avoid using hot or pressurized water at all, and stay away from the shower head while rinsing. Make sure to rinse the shampoo completely from your scalp, as this step is essential to ensure optimal cleanliness and avoid any irritation.
Avoid using a towel to dry your hair and instead use a hair dryer on the cool air setting. Make sure to keep the dryer at a suitable distance from your scalp to avoid any damage or irritation.
If you notice some crusts, apply 12-15 drops of moisturizer to the transplanted area and leave it for about 2 hours. After that, wash your hair with the shampoo we provided and massage it gently to remove the crusts. Repeat this step daily until the crusts disappear completely.
When the crusts disappear, you can stop using the moisturizer, but continue washing your hair with the shampoo we provided or any other shampoo until the end of the first month. After the month has passed, you will have passed the critical stage and you can return to your normal routine and use a towel.
Reminder: Please send us photos of your head at Dr. Serkan Aygin Center in different directions after following the washing instructions for two weeks. You will also have medical consultations regarding hair transplantation operations.
