Things to consider before hair transplantation

If you are planning to undergo a hair transplant, we provide you with a set of important tips and instructions that you should take into consideration before the hair transplant:

Health problems

Before hair transplantation, you must tell us about all the health problems you suffer from and the medications you use. If you suffer from any disease, you must consult your doctor before proceeding with hair transplantation and obtain his approval in this regard.

pharmaceutical

After your doctor allows you to undergo a hair transplant, you must stop using aspirin or any medications that increase blood fluidity three days before the operation.

Do not shave or cut your hair.

Before your hair transplant procedure, it is important not to shave your beard for three days prior to the procedure. Additionally, please avoid cutting your hair for at least two weeks. Following these guidelines will help ensure the best possible results and make the transplant procedure easier for the medical team to perform effectively.

Two days before the operation you should avoid:

Alcohol and drugs, because they affect the effectiveness of the local anesthesia given to you before the operation, and if not two days before the operation, then at least one day before the operation. Smoking, because it reduces blood flow to the scalp, and causes constriction of blood vessels, which affects hair growth; therefore, you must avoid smoking one day before the operation, and after the operation you must also avoid it for a week.

Operation day

What should you wear on the day of the procedure? We recommend that you come to the procedure wearing a button-down shirt or a blouse with a wide collar, or in general wear clothes that you feel comfortable in. After the procedure, you should avoid touching the transplanted area. The procedure takes about 6 hours and this time varies depending on the number of grafts to be transplanted

Preparation before the operation

You should come to the procedure having had a light breakfast. Take care of your personal hygiene before coming to the procedure. Come to the procedure having had enough sleep.

During the process

No companions are taken with the patient to the procedure. Companions are accommodated in our waiting room. Please be careful not to chew gum, talk too much or use your phone during the procedure.
